Welcome to Peak-Photos - Fine art landscape photography from around the Peak District, Derbyshire and the UK by Richard Wheeler.

The majority of photos are from Richard's local area, the Peak District. Richard is particularly interested in photographing in low light conditions either at sunrise or sunset where the golden light transforms the already beautiful landscape into something really special. Within the site, there are many photos of Derbyshire from the gritstone edges such as Stanage edge, Higger Tor, Curbar Edge, Froggatt, Baslow and Gardoms Edge to Mam Tor, Back Tor and the Great Ridge which sit above Castleton and amazing views from Peveril Castle. The site also includes the enchanting Blacka Moor woods and photos of Padley Gorge which look truly stunning in autumn. Peak District photography is very popular and there are many Derbyshire photographers around. Richard is more interested in capturing fine art photos of Derbyshire which are different from the normal peak photographs.

Feel free to browse the gallery where you will find photos of Stanage Edge, photos of Curbar Edge, photos of Higger Tor, photos of Gardoms Edge and other Derbyshire photos of the Gritstone Edges. Also in the Gallery, there is a section called The Great Ridge which includes photos of Peveril Castle, photos of Mam Tor, photos of Back Tor and other photos of Castleton and the surrounding area.
